Our Impression
Editorial TeamWhy We Chose It
The Hotel Kristall sits right in Gerlos in the Zillertal Arena, one of the most snow-sure ski areas in Tyrol, combining quick access to the lifts with a quiet spa area including massages. As a 4-star property it is solidly equipped without any pretension - it is all about mountains, snow and recovering afterwards.
Ideal For
Skiing couples who want to wind down in the sauna in the evening without the bustle of children.
The Ambience
Down-to-earth alpine and calm, more cosy Tyrolean parlour than design hotel.
Good to Know
Its strength clearly lies in winter and the proximity to the slopes - anyone expecting a vast wellness empire or summer highlights is not in the right place here.
