2. Principle
The protection of your personal data is important to us. We process your data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Personal data is only collected if you voluntarily provide it to us or if collection is technically necessary.
3. Data Collected
Contact forms & enquiries: Name, email address, telephone number, message — only when actively entered by you. This data is used solely to process your enquiry.
Newsletter: Email address — only upon active sign-up. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in the newsletter.
Hotel submissions: Hotel name, location, contact details — used solely to process the submission.
Favourites: Your favourite hotels are stored exclusively locally in your browser (localStorage). No data is transmitted to our servers.
Server log files: With every access, the following data is automatically logged: IP address (anonymised), browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, date and time of access. This data serves to ensure operation and to detect misuse.
4. Cookies
This website uses technically necessary cookies that are required for the operation of the site (e.g. session cookies, CSRF tokens). These cannot be disabled.
In addition, we use Google Analytics 4 to analyse user behaviour (see section 5). You can prevent data collection by Google Analytics by installing a browser add-on or by restricting cookies in your browser settings.
5. Analytics and Tracking
Google Analytics 4: This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited. Google Analytics uses cookies that enable an analysis of the use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use is generally transferred to and stored on a Google server in the USA.
IP anonymisation is enabled by default. Google processes the data on our behalf and undertakes not to combine it with other data.
Click tracking: Clicks on external hotel websites are recorded anonymously in order to improve the relevance and quality of our recommendations. No personal data is collected in the process.
6. Disclosure of Data
Personal data is generally not disclosed to third parties, unless:
— You have expressly consented (e.g. when making a hotel enquiry)
— The disclosure is necessary for the performance of the contract
— There is a legal obligation
For hotel enquiries made through our platform, your contact details are forwarded directly to the respective hotel so that it can process your enquiry.
7. Data Security
We use technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against manipulation, loss, destruction and access by unauthorised persons. Our website is transmitted in encrypted form via HTTPS (SSL/TLS).

You have the right at any time to:
