Follow the avenue from the Great Gate

Use the ancient main boulevard as the backbone of your visit. It runs from the Great Gate across the peninsula towards the temples and coastal square. Colonnaded porticoes and rows of shops are part of the avenue’s recorded features. That makes the route itself part of the visit, rather than just a link between ruins.

The freestanding theatre combines a Hellenistic ground plan with Roman construction. Give it its own stop, then continue towards the temples and coastal square.
